Jemma Saunders was destined for a life in design.
Born into an artistic family, she grew up surrounded by sculptors, artists and musicians.
Her innate desire to share her own tactile creations was encouraged and nurtured as she grew.
Drawn to the fragility of the design process, she passionately pours this natural instinct into her pieces.
The result is a distinctly alluring collective, with contemporary silhouettes capturing the essence of the fearless women who wear them.
A Jemma Saunders design celebrates the power of the female form and brings her strength and spirit to life.
Hailing from the Victorian coast, Jemma travelled the globe working in marketing and business before following her heart and returning home to study fashion.
Her talents were quickly recognised, and in 2015 she was awarded the Australasian Young Designer Wool Award and offered the Handbury Scholarship in Milan.
An enriching life of travel has helped her gather inspiration for her collection. As well as drawing on the raw beauty of her home coastline, Jemma pays homage to the architecture in Venice right through to the mountain ranges in France.
Each piece is intricately made to last - and love. Hand stitching, beautiful fabrics and delicate beading signify these are truly special additions.
Jemma now lives in Geelong with her growing family, and is never too far from the seaside that fuels her creativity.
Every garment is tirelessly designed in her studio and produced ethically by talented artisans in India.
